Job Title: Clinical Skills Facilitator - Respiratory Support Skills

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire, England

Job Type: Part-time (22 hours per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Skills Facilitator to join our team at Rainbows Hospice. As a Clinical Skills Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering training and education to our Care Team on complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills. You will work closely with our nursing staff and HCAs to develop and maintain their knowledge, skills, and competence in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training and education to the Care Team on complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills
  • Develop and maintain the knowledge, skills, and competence of our nursing staff and HCAs in this area
  • Work closely with our nursing staff and HCAs to identify training needs and develop training plans
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care to our patients

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or qualified Physiotherapist with experience of complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills
  • Experience of working with children who have complex needs
  • Ability to develop relevant education and training agendas/resources
