About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to a teenage service user with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 care and support to the service user on a night-time basis, promoting a restful environment and ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Administer medication, perform personal care tasks, and assist with clinical interventions as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the service user's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the service user's care plan, ensuring their needs are met and their goals are achieved.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience, with a focus on complex care and support.
  • Experience with medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on communication and collaboration.
  • Comfortable working with animals, as the service user's family dog is present in the home.
