About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support and care to a young person with complex needs in their own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to the service user, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and clinical care needs.
  • Support the service user's learning and development, promoting independence and encouraging participation in activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience, with a focus on complex care.
  • Medication administration and personal care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
