Established Practice Seeks Experienced RVN Leader


We are a well-respected veterinary practice serving the pets of North Harrow and Bushey, with over 60 years of experience in providing exceptional care. As a dynamic and longstanding clinic, we are seeking a confident and inspiring Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to take on the role of Head Nurse.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN leader to join our team and contribute to delivering outstanding patient care while driving clinical excellence. You will be at the heart of the action, supporting surgeries and procedures, ensuring seamless pre-and post-procedure care, monitoring patients, and managing admissions and discharges.


We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking clinical culture, empowering our team through training, coaching, and inspiring professional growth every step of the way. Our state-of-the-art facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house haematology and biochemistry analysers, and a therapeutic laser, enabling you and your team to provide outstanding case workups and care.


When it comes to complex cases, you'll have access to a nearby specialist facility that offers endoscopy, laparoscopy, advanced ultrasound, and CT services, allowing you to tackle even the most challenging cases with confidence.



The Role

This full-time position involves leading a talented nursing team, working closely with our veterinarians to deliver exceptional patient care, and driving clinical excellence throughout the practice. As Head Nurse, you will be responsible for:



  • Supporting surgeries and procedures
  • Ensuring seamless pre-and post-procedure care
  • Monitoring patients and managing admissions and discharges
  • Fostering a collaborative clinical culture
  • Empowering your team through training and coaching
