About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team as a Lead Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Develop and implement nursing protocols and procedures to improve patient outcomes and streamline clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Head Vet and other clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior nurses and students, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the practice's nursing strategy, aligning with the company's vision and goals.

Requirements
  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with a strong clinical background and leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Passion for mentoring and coaching, with a commitment to promoting professional development and growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.
