Job Title: Lead Veterinary Nurse - Neurology Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team as a Lead Veterinary Nurse - Neurology Specialist. As a key member of our neurology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of veterinary nurses, and contributing to the development of our neurology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, primarily within the neurology service.
- Lead and manage a team of veterinary nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans, working closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development of our neurology services, including the creation of policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Head of Nursing Services and other lead nurses to ensure effective communication and coordination across the hospital.
Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in neurology.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
