About the Role

The Governance Assistant will provide administrative support to the organisation, preparing for, arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes and ensuring all actions are allocated and followed up. This role will support the coordination of activity across the organisation and liaising with Trustees and Committee members to support the governance activities.

Person Specification

  • Experience of managing committees and boards, including minute taking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisation and time management skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage your own workload effectively
  • Ability to work well in a team and individually with a proactive and reliable approach to work
  • Be trustworthy, resilient, self-motivated, reliable and with a proactive approach to work

What We Offer

Basic Salary £34,000-£38,000 Pro Rata dependant on experience

Benefits Include - Pension 11% and 28 days holiday + 3 days at Xmas

Part Time, Permanent - Up to 17.5 hours per week, working pattern to be agreed between the post holder and the Chief Executive. Occasional out of hours working or travel within the UK may be required, for which time off in lieu will be given.
