Project Details

Salary: £12.50 per hour, approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness and are looking to maximise their potential and independence.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Project Worker at our Homelessness Service in Salisbury.

About the Role:

  • Provide support to encourage customers to maximise their own potential and independence.
  • Assess customers' needs by writing and updating support plans.
  • Be a first point of call to receive and direct all customer queries.
  • Develop relationships with customers, ensuring that customers maintain personal choice, privacy, and dignity.
  • Liaise with external support links to improve customers' confidence, health and wellbeing, and offer training and encouragement towards employment and education.
  • Handle occasional emergency situations.
  • Keep accurate and high-quality written records.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy.
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities while working to deadlines and targets.
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards is essential.
