We are seeking a dedicated Care and Support Specialist to join our team at the NHS care home. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating environment that enables exceptional all-round care and support for residents.
Main ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibility will be to devise imaginative activities that suit every interest and ability, focusing on maximizing wellbeing, independence, and social engagement. You will get to know residents and their families, creating tailored programmes focused on improving overall wellbeing.
This requires strong organizational skills, a driven mindset, and the ability to inspire residents and staff to participate in activities within the home and local community.
About the RoleYou will help create a stimulating environment at our care home, devising activities that celebrate life. Part of your role will be getting to know our residents and their families, before creating programmes to maximize wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.
We are looking for someone with excellent planning and people skills who can use their talents in an organization providing quality care.
