Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's cash flow and ensuring timely payments from our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Send monthly statements to all customers, ensuring they are aware of their outstanding balances and payment due dates.
- Maintain proactive contact with customers via phone and email to obtain payment by the due date and in accordance with authorized payment terms and targets.
- Review and update credit limits to ensure they are accurate and aligned with our company's risk management strategy.
- Ensure accounts are up-to-date, reconciled, and housekeeping performed on a regular basis to maintain a high level of financial accuracy.
- Process and allocate cash received against customer accounts on Sage, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Process credit notes when requested, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Set up customers and ensure credit checks are completed through Creditsafe/Atradius portals, ensuring accurate and up-to-date credit information.
- Manage Atradius credit insurance portal and insured credit limits, ensuring our company's risk exposure is minimized.
- Provide weekly/monthly reporting to management and directors, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
- Update cash flow forecast to reflect current invoicing, ensuring accurate forecasting and planning.
- Cash flow forecasting for payments received, ensuring our company's cash flow is managed effectively.
- Experience in Credit Control, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures.
- Strong Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Sage Line 50 and Excel experience preferred, with a strong understanding of accounting software and systems.
- Ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a busy accounting department, with a strong sense of prioritization and time management.
- Ability to work to deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
