Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's financial operations, ensuring timely payments from customers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management
    • Send monthly statements to customers to ensure timely payments.
    • Establish and maintain proactive communication with customers to obtain payments by the due date and in accordance with authorized payment terms and targets.
    • Review and update credit limits to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Ensure accounts are up-to-date, reconciled, and maintained accurately.
    • Process and allocate cash received against customer accounts on our financial system.
    • Process credit notes as required.
  • Credit Management
    • Set up customers and ensure credit checks are completed through our credit assessment portals.
    • Manage our credit insurance portal and insured credit limits.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Provide weekly and monthly reports to management and directors on financial performance.
    • Update cash flow forecasts to reflect current invoicing and payments received.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in credit control and financial operations.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Sage Line 50 and Excel (Intermediate) preferred.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and clear financial records.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced accounting environment.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and meet financial targets.

What We Offer

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
