Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Transport Team Member. This role involves the safe transportation of non-emergency patients, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs at hospitals, treatment centers, and other care facilities.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining vehicle and equipment serviceability, conducting daily checks, and reporting defects as necessary. You will also undertake stretcher work, wheelchair clamping, and patient-focused duties, providing an excellent level of customer support.

You will convey patients and escorts safely and efficiently, adhering to road traffic laws and prioritizing patient comfort and well-being.

Requirements

We seek Band 3 operational staff who share our values and commitment to delivering outstanding quality service and patient care. The ideal candidate will have effective communication and interpersonal skills gained from dealing with customers or the public.

A full driving license with no more than 3 penalty points is required. Self-disciplined and able to work independently, you will handle sensitive situations professionally, assertively, and tactfully.
