About Role:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Contracts Manager to join our team in Newbury and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing 2-3 projects simultaneously, working closely with the project Quantity Survey to appreciate and understand the commercial implications and drivers associated with the delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Programme construction works to ensure timely completion.
  2. Supervise construction works to maintain quality and control.
  3. Manage site meetings with Sub Contractors and Clients to ensure effective communication.
  4. Procure materials and sub-contractors to meet project requirements.
  5. Monitor and control expenditure to ensure it is in line with the contract budget.
  6. Have a keen awareness of budget, cost control, and cost recovery.
Requirements:
  • SSSTS / SMSTS qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence is required.
  • Technical knowledge with experience in building houses from start to finish.
  • Multi-trade background with skills in site management.
