Join Bramwith Consulting, a leading global sustainable energy firm, as a Category Manager - Engineering & Professional Services. This exciting opportunity has arisen due to business growth, and we are seeking a strong procurement professional to join our global procurement function of 150 heads.
The successful candidate will cover the Professional Services and Engineering categories within indirect procurement, helping contribute to the management of a total annual spend of circa £1 billion. With an ample opportunity for career development, this role is ideal for a motivated indirect procurement professional with experience in the Professional Services & Engineering categories.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver value and provide the firm with a commercially competitive edge across both Professional Services (Consultancy, Legal, Audit etc) & Engineering related spend.
- Accountable for end-to-end strategic sourcing, tender management, negotiation, and contract management.
- Manage Regional / International supplier and stakeholder relationships, collaborating with internal functions.
- Develop, negotiate, and performance manage contracts with strategic suppliers.
- Strong functional procurement experience managing categories across multiple geographies, including negotiation of contracts across technical, commercial, and legal.
- Experience working with Professional Services & Engineering categories to drive cost savings, optimize services, and reduce risk. Experience in managing larger procurement project / tenders.
- Good commercial acumen, understanding of the business context to make sound judgments/recommendations.
- Experience using SAP, Ariba would be preferable.
- Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage stakeholders in a global structure and develop relationships as a trusted business partner.
- Degree qualified and/or proven experience in procurement.
Location: Nottingham, with a flexible hybrid working model of 2x office days per week.
