Senior Category Manager

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Senior Category Manager. Our client, a well-established police organisation based in the UK, is looking for someone to develop and manage commercial category strategies to achieve the strategic aims and objectives of the Forces served.
Main Responsibilities- Negotiating and influencing senior collective forums
- Delivering procurement savings plans
- Leading complex procurement projects
- Managing contract reviews
To be successful in this position, you should have relevant experience managing high-value category management and delivering quantifiable procurement efficiencies. Understanding the police force's operational needs for specific categories and experience in leading and managing procurement projects of significant complexity and value would be desirable.
