Role Overview

CY Partners is seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to join our specialist In-organics laboratory in Liverpool. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for managing the analysis of in-organic samples to ensure they meet strict quality and purity requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis of in-organics samples using ICP-OES and Ion Chromatography.
  • Manage the laboratory to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of results.
  • Validate new methods and ensure compliance with strict Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with clients and international colleagues to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.
Requirements
  • A degree or similar qualification in Chemistry or a relevant field.
  • Proven laboratory experience, ideally in an in-organics laboratory.
  • Experience with ICP/IC analysis and knowledge of trace metals analysis.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to manage internal stakeholders.
