Job Opportunity

CY Partners is seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to join our specialist In-organics laboratory in the Liverpool area.

This role is critical to the success of our team, responsible for the analysis of in-organic samples using ICP-OES and Ion Chromatography. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the laboratory, ensuring smooth operation and timely delivery of results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of in-organics samples using ICP-OES and Ion Chromatography.
  • Manage the laboratory, ensuring smooth operation and timely delivery of results.
  • Validation of new methods.
  • Collaboration with clients and international colleagues to troubleshoot issues, identifying root-causes and solutions.
  • Maintenance of strict Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • A degree or similar qualification in Chemistry, or relevant field.
  • Proven laboratory experience – ideally in an in-organics laboratory.
  • Experience with ICP / IC analysis.
  • Knowledge of trace metals analysis would be advantageous.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage & influence internal stakeholders.
