Job Opportunity

CY Partners is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our specialist In-Organics laboratory in the UK.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to manage the analysis of in-organic samples using ICP-OES and Ion Chromatography. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory and timely delivery of results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sample Analysis: Conduct analysis of in-organic samples using ICP-OES and Ion Chromatography.
  • Laboratory Management: Manage the laboratory to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of results.
  • Method Validation: Validate new methods to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with clients and international colleagues to troubleshoot issues, identify root-causes, and provide solutions.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure strict Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are maintained.

Requirements:

  • Education: A degree or similar qualification in Chemistry or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven laboratory experience, ideally in an in-organics laboratory.
  • Skills: Experienced with ICP/IC analysis, knowledge of trace metals analysis is advantageous.
  • Communication: Confident communicator with the ability to manage and influence internal stakeholders.
