Analytical Chemist

Competitive Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Liverpool Location

CY Partners is seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to join our specialist In-organics laboratory in the Liverpool area. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for managing the analysis of in-organic samples to ensure they meet strict quality and purity requirements.

Outside of the laboratory, you will also represent the technical department and provide technical advice to shape our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis of in-organics samples using ICP-OES and Ion Chromatography.
  • Manage the laboratory to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of results.
  • Validate new methods and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with clients and international colleagues to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.
  • Maintain strict Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • A degree or similar qualification in Chemistry or a relevant field.
  • Proven laboratory experience, ideally in an in-organics laboratory.
  • Experience with ICP/IC analysis.
  • Knowledge of trace metals analysis is advantageous.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to manage and influence internal stakeholders.

This role requires the full right to work within the UK – sponsorship is not available for this position.
