We are seeking an experienced Medical Secretary Assistant to join our team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a part-time, fixed-term position for six months.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our medical team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have experience working in a hospital environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care, and develop your skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the medical team, including coordinating appointments, managing patient records, and handling correspondence.
  • Ensure that all administrative processes are completed efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a hospital environment, preferably in an administrative or secretarial capacity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
