About the Role

Zest Business Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Eyewear Production Manager to lead our state-of-the-art production facility in Central London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the full end-to-end production of all bespoke and bespoke+ orders, creating small commercial runs of frames, and overseeing the production of technical drawings and CNC drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the production of all orders, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  2. Create and manage production schedules, including resource allocation and team management.
  3. Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the production facility.
  4. Collaborate with the design team to create new and innovative frame designs.
  5. Source and procure materials and equipment to support production needs.
  6. Train and develop the production team, including onboarding new employees and providing ongoing training and support.
  7. Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring all products meet our high standards.
  8. Work closely with other departments, including operations, glazing, retail, and eCommerce, to ensure seamless integration and communication.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in production management, preferably in the eyewear industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of CNC and modern production methods, including 3D CAD design.
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  4. Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
What We Offer
  1. Competitive salary, £36,000 to £41,000 per annum, depending on experience.
