About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our Capital and Commercial Services team in the Wastewater Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading technical aspects of optioneering and design for various waste treatment projects.

Your primary focus will be on driving innovative, efficient, and environmentally friendly solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with the Waste Treatment Core Design Team to develop technical capabilities and provide technical support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading technical aspects of optioneering and design for waste treatment projects.
  2. Providing technical support to the Waste Treatment Core Design Team.
  3. Developing technical capabilities of team members through coaching and mentoring.
  4. Supervising the creation of designs and specifications for wastewater treatment projects.
  5. Identifying and reviewing deviations from our client's standards.
  6. Communicating lessons learned from projects to the wider business.
About You:

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Civil Engineer with a passion for solving engineering problems. You should have a strong background in the design of clean and wastewater projects, ideally with UK experience. Chartered status or membership of a relevant engineering institution is desirable.

You will be a natural leader, able to inspire and motivate others to achieve exceptional results. Your ability to drive through challenging solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders will be essential in this role.
