About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our Capital and Commercial Services team in the Wastewater Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading technical aspects of optioneering and design for various waste treatment projects.

Your primary focus will be on driving innovative, efficient, and environmentally friendly solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with the Waste Treatment Core Design Team to provide technical support and develop the technical capability of team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading technical aspects of optioneering and design for waste treatment projects
  • Providing technical support to the Waste Treatment Core Design Team
  • Developing the technical capability of team members through coaching and mentoring
  • Supervising the creation of designs and specifications for wastewater treatment projects
  • Ensuring adherence to our client's H&S standards and regulations

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in the design of clean and wastewater projects. Ideally, you will be chartered or a member of a relevant engineering institution. A passion for solving engineering problems, leadership skills, and the ability to drive through challenging solutions are essential for this role.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • UK experience in the design of clean and wastewater projects
  • Civil Degree qualified (or equivalent) Engineer
  • Ideal chartered or member of a relevant engineering institution
  • Passion for solving engineering problems
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to drive through challenging solutions
