Senior Proposals Coordinator Job Description

The Senior Proposals Coordinator will play a crucial role in the preconstruction phase of potential projects, working closely with the bid team to develop high-quality proposal responses.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the bid team in drafting detailed proposals, including gathering necessary data from proposal contributors.
  2. Assist in the creation of bid documents related to kick-offs and settlements.
  3. Proofread and edit colleague's bid response documents to ensure they meet the required standards.
  4. Maintain and administer a library of reusable written content, templates, and processes to enhance efficiency across submissions.
  5. Support post-bid activities, such as presentation creation and information logging.
  6. Monitor and log opportunities through procurement portals.
  7. Undertake other administrative duties to support the wider office team and its directors.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working within a bid team.
  2. Experience in drafting, reviewing, and submitting proposal responses.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  4. Ideal degree qualification in a relevant subject, such as Marketing and/or English.
  5. APMP Certification is preferred but not essential.
  6. Experience working with bid submission and procurement portals.
  7. Construction industry experience, preferably Civil Engineering.
  8. Adobe editing experience.
Skills:
  1. Effective communication and organisational skills.
  2. Excellent writing and grammar skills with the ability to prioritise.
  3. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  5. Relationship building skills.
