About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Assistant Headteacher Inclusion to join our leadership team at City of London Academies Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our inclusion and SEN provision across all phases and classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of inclusive practices and strategies to meet the needs of our SEN pupils
  • Manage a team of teaching assistants and ensure that provision is correctly matched to need
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement whole-school policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to ensure that our pupils receive the best possible support
  • Contribute to the development of our broad and innovative curriculum
Requirements
  • Experience of working in an inclusive school environment
  • Qualifications in SEND or a related field
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and external agencies
  • Passion for making a difference to the lives of our pupils
