About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Assistant Headteacher Inclusion to join our dynamic leadership team at City of London Academies Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our inclusion and SEN provision across all phases and classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of inclusive practices and strategies to meet the needs of our SEN pupils
  • Manage a team of teaching assistants and ensure that provision is correctly matched to need
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement whole-school policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum and assessment strategies
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with experience of working in an SEN context
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners
  • Strong understanding of inclusive practices and SEN provision
