About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Headteacher to join our team at a 1-form entry primary school in Westminster. As a Deputy Headteacher, you will play a key role in shaping the school's vision, values, and strategic goals, working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement the school's aims and objectives, establishing policies and managing staff and resources.
  • Monitor progress and maintain high standards across the school, fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Support and mentor teaching staff to enhance their professional development and effectiveness in the classroom.
  • Recruit, induct, and manage staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, the local community, and external stakeholders, representing the school's values and achievements.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • Proven leadership experience in a primary school setting.
  • Understanding of current educational policies and practices.
  • Dedication to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
