About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kedleston Group team and shape our educational provision in a dynamic and supportive environment.

We are seeking a talented and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team at Mapesbury School. This is a key role that requires a driven and enthusiastic individual who can work in partnership with the Headteacher and other leaders to drive school improvement and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

The successful candidate will lead by example, inspiring and developing others to achieve their full potential. They will be responsible for mentoring and coaching colleagues to develop their behavior management and teaching skills, supporting inclusion in the classroom and promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.

Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs and abilities of our students, recognizing the diverse range of backgrounds and experiences they bring to the school. We are committed to helping our students raise their aspirations, renew their self-belief, and achieve their full potential, regardless of their starting point.

The Deputy Headteacher will be responsible for leading on behavior and attendance, ensuring an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported. They will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement behavior and attendance strategies, and will be responsible for managing effective inclusion of all students across the school.

The ideal candidate will have a good track record of raising standards and leadership, and will be committed to developing positive behavior and promoting a culture of excellence in the school. They will be an exceptional leader, able to inspire and motivate others to achieve their full potential, and will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students.
