About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at New Barn School. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to our students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a range of subjects to students with varying abilities and needs
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to individual learning styles
  • Assess and track student progress, setting achievable targets and making adjustments as needed
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum plans and educational programs
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with Autism and other complex needs
  • Strong knowledge of current education issues and best practices in SEN education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
