Job Title: Academics Trainer

Express Solicitors is an award-winning law firm that deals in personal injury and clinical negligence claims. We are seeking an experienced Academics Trainer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Academics Trainer to join our team. As an Academics Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our solicitors and other fee-earning staff. You will work closely with our Head of Professional Support to identify training needs and develop training programs that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver group training and one-on-one coaching to solicitors and other fee-earning staff
  • Develop and deliver training programs on legal topics and case management
  • Work with our Head of Professional Support to identify training needs and develop training programs
  • Design and develop training materials to reinforce and embed delivered training
  • Participate in department meetings to understand business needs and user requirements
  • Assist with marketing externally by providing commentary on legal updates and drafting articles
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in training and development, preferably in a law firm or legal services environment
  • Strong knowledge of legal topics and case management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Basic salary up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience
  • 3/2 alternative working from home pattern staff after probation
  • 23 days holiday a year, rising to 26 days
  • 3 holiday buy backs per year after 1 year of service
