Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Academic Support Specialist to join our team at Aspire People. As a Graduate Academic Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic support to pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils receive comprehensive support
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective learning strategies to support pupil progress
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Person Specification

  • Strong academic background, with good A-Levels and GCSEs
  • Degree required, 2:2 or above, ideally in English, Maths, or Science
  • Passion for education and supporting pupils of all backgrounds
  • Enhanced DBS check required (we can process one for you)
