About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to join our Learning Disabilities Home in Sheffield. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care for young people aged 16-25 with learning disabilities.

Salary: Up to £29,720 - £37,852.80 per annum (£13.25 - £17.16 per hour) based on an average of 42 hours per week.

Job Description:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents through ongoing assessment, planning, and reviews.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, fostering a culture of excellence in care delivery.
  • Support staff and residents in achieving their full potential.
  • Work closely with the management team to maintain high standards of service delivery.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 Adult Care or Health and Social Care equivalent qualification.
  • A Level 2 Team Leader or management qualification, or the willingness to obtain one post-appointment.
  • Experience working with learning disabilities, driven by a genuine desire to make a difference.
  • Leadership qualities, with a positive outlook and a knack for motivating teams.
