Fleet Maintenance Administrator

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Administration Officer (Maintenance) to join our team at Wakefield Council. As a key member of our fleet maintenance workshop, you will provide a technical reception service to vehicle and plant users, taxi drivers, and external customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide accurate records of fleet maintenance and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with statutory duties.
- Assist the service in meeting its statutory duties by maintaining accurate electronic and paper records.
- Use initiative to resolve problems and support the management team in coordinating issues across the service.
- Develop technical knowledge of vehicles and plant, or demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to industry changes.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4 GCSE passes (grade A to C) or equivalent, including English Language and a numeracy-based subject.
- Experience in a busy reception or office environment.
- A relevant qualification.
