University College London Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neonatal Senior Staff Nurse to join our team in our state-of-the-art neonatal unit. As a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse, you will have the opportunity to consolidate your experience in our busy unit, enhance your ITU skills, and develop and progress to managing the special care / high dependency area.

About the Role
  • Provide high-quality patient care to neonates in our level three neonatal unit
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellence in neonatal care
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of our patients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance neonatal care
Requirements
  • Relevant clinical experience at Band 5/6
  • Demonstrates awareness of risk management issues
  • Communicates effectively verbally, in writing, and in electronic formats
  • Demonstrates understanding of good practice in Customer Care
  • Demonstrates evidence of professional development in line with KSF, maintains updated Portfolio
  • Committed to providing safe, effective, and timely patient-centred care in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct and Trust Core standards
