About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Neonatal Nurse to lead our expert team of clinical staff on both day and night shifts. As a senior sister, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating clinical care for babies requiring high levels of nursing care.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based care plans, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and well-being. Your leadership and management skills will be essential in motivating and supporting staff to develop their skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the nursing team, taking continuing responsibility for the management and organisation of the clinical area
- Assess care needs, develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care
- Ensure a high standard of nursing care and the well-being of patients at all times
- Registered Nurse – Adult or Child Branch
- Formal qualification diploma/degree or working at this level and able to critically analyse situations
- Post registration qualification in mentorship or ENB 997/998 or equivalent
- Current NALs certificate or willingness to undertake
