About the Role

We are recruiting for a customer-focused Billing Specialist to join our team and support the accurate billing of our customers. As a Billing Specialist, you will work within an experienced team, providing support to colleagues and customers with billing queries. You will have a friendly and professional manner and be able to deliver information clearly and accurately, upholding our values of Service, Integrity, Collaboration, Commitment, Compassion, and Innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all billing process thresholds, rejections, and exceptions
  • Support expected read volumes and upload times to ensure continuous billing
  • Engage with a range of billing scenarios daily, focusing on customer satisfaction and complaint prevention
  • Follow revenue protection processes, ensuring that outgoing payments remain in line with company policy
  • Actively support the metering programme within the billing process

About You

You are self-motivated with a confident and mature outlook. You will have experience with billing and scheduling processes and be able to work with a high degree of accuracy. You are able to remain calm, managing and prioritizing your workload in order to complete time-sensitive tasks. You are happy working as part of a team and taking responsibility for your personal workload. You are a confident communicator, able to demonstrate tact and patience.
