We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Engineer to join our Modelling and Simulation Team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead simulation and modelling studies on real engineering problems to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with the Modelling & Simulation (M&S) team to develop and apply simulation and modelling techniques.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations for simulation and modelling projects.
  • Develop and lead industrial projects, from customer requirements definition to project delivery.
  • Deliver high-quality projects according to project governance processes.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of industrial experience leading simulation, modelling and analytical studies.
  • Expertise in physics-based modelling, data-driven modelling, and focused solution/application development.
  • Collaborative R&D bid development and technical training experience.
  • Manufacturing, object-oriented programming, statistical thinking, and materials modelling experience.
  • Knowledge of one or more industrial sector and/or understanding of manufacturing systems and technologies.
