About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technician - Materials Assurance to join our team at BAE Systems (New). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safety assessment of material used on the submarine build line with a focus on temporary build enablers. This role requires a good practical understanding of mechanical systems, experience in stakeholder management, and the ability to understand technical information.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other experts to ensure that all materials meet the necessary safety standards. You will also support audits of stores and build environments, identify required testing on materials, and maintain material information records in associated databases. You will work alongside a team that is working across all three current submarine programmes, supporting the safety assessment of material used on the submarine build line with a focus on temporary build enablers.

We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria. In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, enhanced annual leave incentive, a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan, flexible working arrangements, an employee assistance programme, Cycle2work and employee discounts, and potentially an annual incentive.
