Job Description

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Culinary Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services.

In this role, you will be responsible for deputising for the Chef Manager, managing every aspect of catering within the location, and delivering a high-quality catering service. You will also supervise the catering assistants on shift, maintain compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures, and minimise waste when preparing meals.

You will need to have intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certification with Cater craft or similar award, as well as proven chef and people management experience. Additionally, you should have knowledge of dietary requirements relating to older people and the safe use of kitchen equipment.

As a Culinary Operations Manager, you will be required to work in a pressured environment, producing meals based on implemented menus, while maintaining flexibility, innovation, and teamwork.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certification with Cater craft or similar award
  • Proven chef and people management experience
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements relating to older people
  • Safe use of kitchen equipment
