About the Role

As a Unit Nurse Manager (Mental Health) at Barchester Healthcare, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing and mental health care to our residents. This involves assessing their needs, implementing effective care plans, and managing staff to ensure exceptional outcomes.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RMN) with a current NMC registration and experience in caring for older adults and those with dementia. You should have a strong track record of developing well-structured care plans and conducting thorough risk assessments. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, is essential.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader who has mentored colleagues, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. They should be dedicated, ambitious, and resilient, with a proven ability to deliver improvements that achieve quality care.

About You
  • Registered Nurse (RMN) with a current NMC registration
  • Experience in caring for older adults and those with dementia
  • Strong track record of developing well-structured care plans and conducting thorough risk assessments
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
  • Natural leadership skills, including mentoring and supporting colleagues
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £42,000 per annum, which is competitive within the industry.
