Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Widnes. As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining equipment at customer locations, diagnosing and repairing technical issues, and providing training and support to customers.

Responsibilities

  1. Installation and Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is installed and maintained to the highest standard, ensuring full functionality and minimal downtime.
  2. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair technical issues with mechanical and electrical systems, using your strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  3. Customer Support: Provide excellent customer support, including training and guidance on equipment operation.
  4. Service Reports: Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to travel regularly to customer sites.
