Mechanical Systems Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Technician to join our team at beBee Professionals in Widnes. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, and other equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and develop recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques, is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits:
