About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Recovery Support Specialist to join our team at the Listening Lounge. As a Peer Worker, you will work alongside colleagues to plan, deliver, and review services that support individuals with poor mental health and recovery.

The Listening Lounge provides free information, peer support, a phone helpline, and counselling services to those in need. You will be part of a collaborative team working together to make a positive impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement service plans
  • Provide peer support and guidance to individuals accessing our services
  • Contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of services at the Listening Lounge
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Relevant life experience and skills
  • CV and references required
  • Keyboard skills and proficiency in basic computer software

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
