Job Description:
This role involves working closely with individuals with mental health conditions, using evidence-based interventions to promote positive behaviour and outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting individuals with mental health conditions in daily activities and personal care needs, promoting dignity and respect.
- Providing one-to-one support to individuals with autism/brain injury, promoting independence and confidence through positive reinforcement techniques.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each service user.
- Implementing strategies based on applied behaviour analysis techniques to enhance service user outcomes.
- Administering medication as prescribed, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and adherence.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with individuals with mental health conditions, including autism and brain injury.
- Proficiency in medication administration and patient care, with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues alike.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.
Salary:£34,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
