Children's Home Deputy Manager

Are you a seasoned deputy manager looking for a new challenge? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Esland is seeking a dedicated and experienced deputy manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.
About the RoleAs a children's home deputy manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our team of support workers. You will work closely with the home manager to ensure that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support, and that our team is equipped to provide this.
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising and supporting a team of support workers
- Ensuring that our residents receive high-quality care and support
- Working closely with the home manager to develop and implement care plans
- Managing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents
- Providing training and development opportunities for our team

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a children's residential care home
- At least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
- A Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and expectations, relevant legislation, and Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- A full, UK driving licence issued in the UK
- Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- Candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
