Children's Home Deputy Manager

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our Assessments Team at our Lutterworth home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to grow with a supportive company.
About the RoleAs a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing staff working in a care role. You will also be involved in the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring that our young people receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage staff working in a care role
- Contribute to the day-to-day management of the home
- Ensure that our young people receive the best possible care and support
- Work closely with the Management Team to achieve our goals and objectives
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the home
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a children's residential care home (within the last 5 years)
- At least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
- A Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and expectations, relevant legislation and Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and team leader skills
- A full, UK driving licence issued in the UK
- Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- Candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
