Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Associate Director of Quality Governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Associate Director's Outlook inboxes, ensuring that urgent messages are brought to their attention and taking appropriate action. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Associate Director of Quality Governance, including managing Outlook inboxes and ensuring that urgent messages are brought to their attention.
  • Ensure that the work of the Associate Director of Quality Governance is carried out smoothly, confidentially and effectively, and that all Group/Trust/directorate policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Manage the diaries for appointments, meetings, travel and accommodation, and provide general administrative support to clinical governance processes.
  • Provide secretarial support through note/minute taking at meetings.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Working knowledge of computer packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.

Desirable
  • Willingness to attend in-house training.
  • Relevant NHS legislation, policies, protocols etc knowledge.
