About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. This will include planning and implementing themed events, booking external suppliers, and organizing trips out in the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a varied and stimulating activity program that enhances the quality of life for each resident
  • Collaborate with the care team to identify resident needs and preferences
  • Book and manage external suppliers to provide entertainment and activities
  • Organize and lead group activities and events
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and review resident needs regularly
Requirements
  • Experience in working with residents living with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage residents in activities
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
