Cardiology Research Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Research Nurse to join our Cardiology Research Team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality research trials that inform the future care of our patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Recruit and consent suitable patients for clinical trials
- Coordinate data collection and ensure compliance with ethically approved protocols and ICH-GCP standards
- Work closely with the research team to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality results
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant science or healthcare subject
- Valid registration with the NMC (if applicable)
- Experience in clinical research or audit at a minimum of NHS band 5 or above
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Salary:
£55,000 - £65,000 per annum
