Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex health needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work as part of a close-knit staff team to ensure the best possible care for our residents. This includes offering close personal care, such as bathing and pad changes, moving and handling, gastro feeding, and specialist health procedures, with training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting children and young people with their daily routines, including personal care and activities
  2. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues
  3. Participating in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  4. Contributing to a safe and respectful environment within the home

Requirements:

  • GCSE Grade A – C in Maths and English or equivalent qualification
  • Commitment to attain a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 18 months
  • Minimum age requirement of 22 years old
  • Experience working with children and young people with disabilities
